Mount Lofty House in the Adelaide Hills has been recognised by Tripadvisor as the 2022 Traveller’s Choice Best of the Best award winner for Top Hotels, ranking first out of 25 top hotels in Australia and the South Pacific.
In a year of unprecedented travel disruption and changing traveller priorities, Mount Lofty House has exceeded expectations and has been lauded as the top choice by in-house guests. Based on a full year of Tripadvisor reviews, The Traveler’s Choice Awards honour the best in travel, recognising the places that delivered the most exceptional experiences.

Sequoia, an $18 million intimate luxury lodge was also added to the Mount Lofty Estate in August 2021. Comprising fourteen luxury sustainably-designed suites, Sequoia sits on the side of Mount Lofty, high above the Piccadilly Valley in the Adelaide Hills. The intimate lounge is centred around social connection along with immersive nature-inspired experiences, natural artesian spring-fed stone hot pools, an infinity pool, new day spa and valley rim campfire amphitheatre – the retreat represents a new level of luxury in South Australia.
