Summer afternoons are made for lingering on the lawns at Mount Lofty House.
Overlooking the Piccadilly Valley, the Terrace Bar returns for summer, bringing together live music, South Australian wines, refreshing cocktails and a light menu designed for relaxed afternoons in the Adelaide Hills.
Settle in on the Terrace at Mount Lofty House, enjoy a glass from The Lane, and spend a few unhurried hours soaking up the captivating view.
Open Thursday to Sunday throughout summer, with live music every Sunday, the Terrace Bar welcomes both house guests and visitors to the Estate.
In the event of inclement weather, guests will be able to enjoy our indoor Hardy’s Bar and Arthur Waterhouse Lounge.

Our Terrace Bar menu keeps things light and relaxed, with Coffin Bay oysters, a selection of charcuterie and South Australian cheeses designed to enjoy over a long afternoon.
To drink, discover a selection of wines from The Lane Vineyard, alongside our Signature Lofty Sour Cherry Spritz, Margaritas and Gin & Tonics featuring South Australian distillers Never Never, Prohibition and 36 Short.
For gin lovers, three tasting paddles offer the chance to explore each distillery in more detail.

Sundays take on an easy rhythm with live music on the Terrace from 12pm to 3pm.

Reservations are not required and external guests are warmly invited to join us on the Terrace Lawns below Mount Lofty House.
